Sarah DeDonatis has worked with the senior population in many capacities for most of her life.  Throughout her childhood, she visited nursing homes to entertain and spend time with the residents.  Her first childhood memory was going to a nursing home at three years old dressed as a clown to entertain the residents with her puppy, Tillie.  She brings experiences of her life and profession and shares with the audience interesting stories that drive home the multiple points in her presentation.

She has been an administrator for a home for the aged and has worked as a professional speaker for the local long-term care ombudsman.  Sarah also served on the Curricula Committee for the Adult Abuse Neglect Prevention program, a $5 million dollar federal grant to reduce elder abuse through education of staff in long-term care facilities.  Sarah is an elected Board Member for the Council on Aging for Macomb County, Michigan.  She enjoys membership in the National Speakers Association, a nation-wide organization supporting professional speakers.  As a Master Gardener and Master Composter, Sarah often finds herself in dirt up to her elbows.  Her fervent desire is to dig in deep to empower and educate the senior population and those whom they rely on for care.

Her passion for life and joy of being surrounded by people are reflected in her presentations.  She has a way of giving the hard facts and talking about the tough topics while still bringing joy and hope to her audience.  Please take a moment and see what others are saying about Sarah on the Testimonial Page.
